CODER - LEVEL III - HIM (Health Information Management)
RHIA, RHIT, or CCS REQUIRED.
1 years of coding experience for inpatient and all outpatient types preferred. Responsible for reviewing records and assigning ICD-10 and CPT codes for reimbursement consistent with applicable guidelines on inpatient and outpatient records. Also responsible for abstracting statistical information. Must communicate with physicians to clarify diagnosis or procedures for appropriate code assignment when documentation is unclear.
