Under the direction of the Lead Technologist, performs the daily imaging studies. Works the individually assigned work areas or as directed by the Lead Technologist. Performs the duties of a Radiologic technologist which includes: the performance of the study, entering required data into the hospital computer system, reporting equipment problems by ordering repair work through the order entry module, and maintaining a high film quality. Education: High school diploma. Position requires completion of an ARRT approved 24 month Radiologic technology program. Must be an ARRT registered radiologic technologist or registry eligible. Must obtain ARRT registry within one year of being employed at GMH. Experience: Position requires the experience attained from completion of an approved ARRT Radiologic technology program. Judgment & Complexity: Performs a large variety of tasks, some of which are complex. Involves discretion, independent action and judgment to determine variations from standard practice. Requires a high degree of accuracy in observing, recording and transmitting data. |
