Following more than two and a half years of consumer research, this site was developed
by VHA Inc., a nationwide information and services network of more than 2,200 leading
community-owned not-for-profit healthcare organizations, including Grady Memorial
Hospital, and their affiliated physicians.

The research revealed that consumers want convenient, credible, and easy-to-understand
health and medical information, and they want to play a greater role in the healthcare
services provided to them and their families. This site answers these needs by providing
consumers with a comprehensive, one-stop source of reliable, current health information
that can be accessed through this web site.

information that can help improve the quality of care you receive. A PHR can help reduce or
eliminate duplicate tests and allow you to receive faster, safer treatment and care in an emergency.
In short, a PHR helps you play a more active role in yours and your loved ones’ healthcare.

Local Support Classes in Diabetes and Cancer as well as other topics are offered on
the Grady campus.
